Let's pay attention.
It's such a lucky accident, having been born.
I made this little poster recently and it sums up so much of what I believe to be true. And so many of my creative practices are in service to this - not missing the miracle of this life. The tiniest things that not only make life bearable, but deepen our experience of being here. That connect us to the world around us. That help us touch into reverence.
I think writing can do that.
And poetry.
And walking.
And making art.
Okay, there are a million ways to get us there.
But one of my favorite ways is do these practices in community. Where we are amplifying the wonder and the joy in the sharing.
Have you ever noticed that when you see a rainbow out in the wild, the first thing you want to do is to grab everyone around you and say, LOOK!!
That’s what we’ll be spending the month doing in my Wonder Spotting course. Inviting each other to look. To see the world anew. To share what we love.
